Frequently asked questions
Is a 3D-printed cake topper safe in a cake?
It only sits in the cake for a short time and only touches the top. Use new PLA without glitter or metal powder, wash it beforehand and, if you like, wrap the picks in a bit of baking paper or foil.
Which font works best?
The elegant font has letters that are joined together, which makes a strong topper. With the other fonts, the border around the letters and the bar underneath make sure everything becomes one piece.
Will it fit on my printer?
A 15 cm topper fits most printers. On a small printer, such as the Bambu Lab A1 mini (18 cm), choose 17 cm at most or print it diagonally.
How do I get two colours?
Add a colour change at the height of the base, 3 mm by default. With an AMS, use the button for 2 files.
What does a cake topper cost?
Usually 5 to 12 grams of filament: with filament at 20 euros per kilo, that is 10 to 25 cents.
