How it works
- Link: to your website, Instagram, menu or review page.
- Wi-Fi: guests connect without typing a password.
- Text: for example a phone number or a short message.
- Add a line of text underneath, choose the size and download the STL file.
Tips for a sign that scans well
- Use a light plate and a dark code, preferably in matte filament.
- Print with a 0.2 mm layer height and a 0.4 mm nozzle; keep the blocks at least 1.2 mm.
- Scan the preview on your screen before you start printing.
- For outdoor use: print in PETG or ASA, which fades less in the sun.

Frequently asked questions
How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?
Guests open their phone’s camera and scan the code. The phone then asks whether it may connect to your Wi-Fi: they don’t have to type in your password.
Is my Wi-Fi password stored?
No. The code is made in your own browser and the password is not sent anywhere. It is inside the code itself, though, so don’t hang the sign where strangers can scan it.
How big should the sign be?
Keep the blocks at least 1.2 mm in size. For a Wi-Fi code, 60 mm wide is usually enough; for a long link or a lot of text, make the sign bigger.
Can I print it in one colour?
That scans badly, because the camera sees little contrast. Print the code in a dark colour on a light plate, using a colour change or an AMS.
Can I use this for my business?
Yes, you can freely use and sell the signs, for example for a B&B, café or market stall.
