Frequently asked questions
Is a name puzzle safe for small children?
Loose letters can be a choking hazard for children under 3, especially small pieces such as the dot of an i. Only let them play with the puzzle under supervision and make the board generously large so the letters don’t get too small.
Which clearance should I choose?
0.3 mm fits most well-tuned printers. If the letters are too tight, choose 0.4 or 0.5 mm. If they are too loose, choose 0.2 mm.
Which font is best?
The bold font gives separate, chunky letters that are easy to grab. The elegant font turns the whole name into one piece.
What does a name puzzle cost?
A 17 cm board with letters usually weighs 60 to 100 grams: with filament at 20 euros per kilo, that is 1.20 to 2 euros.
