Draw a closed outline: the inside is filled in automatically.
Draw an outline in the area or upload an image.
Print with the wide grip rim on the bed and the thin cutting edge facing up. No supports needed.
How it works
- Sinterklaas, Christmas & more: choose a ready-made shape, such as a mitre, shoe, gingerbread man, Christmas tree or star.
- Name or letter: type a name or a single letter for your own letter cookie.
- Your own drawing: draw an outline or upload a drawing. The inside is filled in automatically.
- Set the size, check the preview and download the STL file.
Tips for a good cookie cutter
- Print with a layer height of 0.2 mm and at least 2 walls, so the thin cutting edge is completely filled.
- After printing, place the cutter on a flat surface to check that it cuts evenly all the way round.
- Dust the cutter with a little flour so the dough releases more easily.
- Not in the dishwasher: PLA softens from about 55 degrees.
Ideas for Sinterklaas and Christmas
- Mitres, shoes and horse heads for taaitaai or speculaas (Dutch spiced biscuits).
- Letter cookies with the first letter of each name, as a twist on the chocolate letter.
- Christmas trees, stars and baubles. Poke a small hole before baking so you can hang them in the tree.

Frequently asked questions
Is the cookie cutter maker free?
Yes. You do not need an account, there is no watermark and you are also allowed to sell the cutters.
Is a 3D-printed cookie cutter food safe?
Not officially. Bits of dough can get stuck between the layers. Only use the cutter briefly for cutting out, wash it by hand in lukewarm water and preferably print it in new PLA or PETG without metallic or glitter colourants.
Which sizes work well?
A cookie of 6 to 8 cm is practical. A cutting edge 1 mm thick and 12 to 15 mm tall cuts well through 5 mm dough and stays sturdy.
Can I make a chocolate letter or an initial?
Yes. Choose the Name or letter tab and type a single letter. With a 3 mm border it becomes one sturdy shape.
My drawing gives a strange shape. What now?
Draw one closed outline with a thick line. Loose lines inside get filled in. With a photo of paper, the Light/dark threshold slider helps.
What does printing cost?
Usually 5 to 12 grams of filament: with filament at 20 euros per kilo, that is 10 to 25 cents per cutter.
